Open Question: Should I use credit score service for Job Application?

I recently sent an email with a resume to a company(DMK property management) in a nearby city. The return email(from hotmail) directed me to a online application with several questions regarding my personality type and work preferences. In the middle of the first page there was a statement that they needed a credit score and they had arranged a free service with a partner. The link took me to freeonlinescore.com. I was to print out my credit history with score and bring it to an interview. If I got one. Then in the application there was an upload for my resume. I guess I'm just looking for some validation to my suspicions. First the HR person that replied via email had a hotmail.com address. Second, doesn't companies do a background check including credit history on their possess? And why would they send someone to a specific service like freeonlinescore.com rather than the credit reporting agencies that do it for free? Third. I had inlcuded a resume in my original email to the company but the website asked me to upload another. I find every of this very suspect. I think it's freeonlinescore.com trying to receive business or something worse. This company listing was on craigslist by the way. I found out that this is a scam out of Russia. Do not apply for a job where the domain name is dmkmanagement.com. In fact, do not apply for a job that requires you to send your credit information to them.

Normally when Camil was about to make a mistake and I could look it from a mile away I would go to my dad, but my dad is one wrong move away from disowning me. Tonight was a perfect example of me trying to do everything I could win their adore back. No tiny task, mind you. I’ve being dating with this girl for 3-4 months now, things are going very smoothly. However, recently I found out something suspicious. A week ago I found an email address she uses, which contains Eric.(her name)@livedotcom. I quickly became paranoid. I did not confront her about this, so I did my possess little investigation (going through her other email accounts, looking at her sms). I found several emails that was dated 8 months ago. The guy calls “sweetie” “babe.” There were two itinerary to Las Vegas, and New York. Nothing recent while we’re dating though. However, I did found the same guy on her cellphone recent (3 weeks ago) sms record. He said “99 sweetie.” My girlfriend replied “thank you eric, you too have a great night.” I remembered she didn’t pick up my phone until midnight and we had a little argument about she thinks I don’t know how to “handle her.” I did some background about this guy since I know his last name. he is 52yrs old, while my girlfriend is 28, and I’m 24. He is a business owner etc. I asked her about the email Eric.(mygf name)livedotcom, she simply lied and said it was her ex from 4-5 years ago in a different country. What should I do at this point? How should I confront her? The guy live about 20 minute away from her. i did not receive his exact address, but I found the City he lives in.

Open Question: I have a jawbone. What would you do?

I have a Jawbone + Charger I'm trying to receive rid of on Craigslist. 1 person was going to trade the Jawbone for gift cards to WalMart - later canceled 1 person wanted to trade it for a broken iPod. He changed his mind. 1 person wanted to trade it for a AT&T RAZR phone V3. He told me he was going to arrive over that evening, but had urgent out of town business and would contact me the next day. 6 days later he emails me, saying he forgot, but is still willing to trade it. I'm practically willing to give this stupid thing away. Since he'd ditched me and hadn't gotten back to me for 6 days do you think I should not take his offer (because who knows if he'll actually show up). Or should I just give the stupid thing away for free. I never use it. What would you do? I've had the "Willing to trade for almost ANYTHING" post on Craigslist for about 2 weeks now. Just looking for suggestions. Thanks. Or should I just agree to the whole thing? A Jawbone is a Bluetooth headset. I put it up for barter, not for sale. The posts relating to a mandible aren't silly. I used to create my possess websites way back in the day (I'm talkin' 2001, back when I was in 7th grade) I started off by using Geocities for free and then I moved on to real hosted domain name things. (I never took classes in the stuff, I just used common sense and simple HTML so forgive my lack of knowledge in computer/website lingo/technical terms.) Anyway, I remember paying a reasonable amount of money per year for storage space, domain name and even an email address with Canaca.com. I just returned to their website to possibly sign up again and they now charge $40-something a month! I feel like the carpet has been pulled below me! Am I crazy or is this a little much? Are there any good hosts who charge per year? I don't like this per-month business...

Open Question: How do I stop Outlook Express from grouping emails by subject?

OE has started categorizing my emails by info in the subject line even though I have it set up to list by date (and it was doing this just fine up until a couple weeks ago!) So If someone hits answer to an email I sent a month ago, it will appear in my inbox as a sub-email to the original email (a plus sign appears next to the email from last month and the new email appears indented and below it). So now I have no idea when a new email comes in if it's a answer to an old one unless I search every my old emails to find it. It's really slowing down my business communications! I've looked a number of times for a way to undo this but can't find it. every help is appreciated.

Open Question: Could I file charges's against my boss for making a check under my name and forging my signature and cashing?

Im in the state of Florida, My boss made a check for $2600.00 below my name, he forged my signature and chased the check. The clerk asked him if I was aware since i bring his company checks to receive cashed at the location authorized by him, the following business day I went their and the clerk ask me if I authorized it. I was like hell no, so he gave me the copy of the check and told me he has the audio and tape of the recorded transaction if I needed it. I don't understand why he would do such a thing, but lately allot of troubles been occurring about legal problems in the office. I have no respect for what he did and I'm furious because of the situation he has put me into. I have two tiny kids i provide for, so I know ounce light is shed into the problem I will be terminated. Man I'm upset! I make good money, but I know I can't trust someone like this, i asked the clerk not to say anything till i figure this mess out, but if he did it again to let me know and give me the copies of checks. I guess his been trying to evade taxes cause he hasn't gotten an accountant for the past 2 fiscal years, and I've imagine he hasn't claim none of the money his been cashing below the company name in the check cashing store, but that check went into my account and he took a copy of my drivers license to the clerk, I guess he took it out my file! Open Question: HELP! Guys advice too..How to get him back-and stop partying?

I've been dating a guy for 5 months, that I've known for the last 7 years... we always sort of were "it" for eachother..always had unfinished business, and finally decided to give a relationship a shot, but I found out very quickly that he was too immature to handle it. He's 23. He's still very much into spending his weekends at the bar getting wasted, and cares more about his time with his friends than with me. But whenever push comes to push we battle and break up and call it quits, and then one of us crawls back. We're both at the point that we agree when we're together its PERFECT, but we battle when we're apart, and its beginning to seem like the fights outweigh the good. I for some reason can't just let him go, no matter how difficult I try. I know it may be the right person, wrong timing, so what do I do? I've basically chased him away by being overbearing and expecting too much from him, and now he feels like maybe he just isnt' ready for a relationship and better off alone. He strongly cares for me and he says he just wants it to be "easy", no fights, no drama, just have fun and be glad together, but I can't help but be miserable every weekend when he goes out , whether I'm there or not. I'm looking for someone to settle down with. How do I receive him back? Ive tried texting/emailing him telling him how much I miss him and that I wish things could work between us...he's being quite resistant right now though, we had a pretty big blow out last week. So how do I receive him to want me again, and is there anything I can do to ween him off the partying and receive him to settle down a bit? Please help!

Open Question: How do you feel about dating someone who came out of a relationship not too long ago?

I have been talking to a guy I met at a pal's fathering for a month. We went out a few times and he's away right now on a business trip. We talk everyday through calls/texts/emails. We are both 24 years old. He knows I like him. He came out of a 5month relationship 3 months ago. I know 5months is short and people say he's probably over her, but from my experience, they're usually not. I've been hurt that way. He's a strong Christian as well with strong values, and I know he's not the type to easily forget someone. I asked him if he was over her, and he said he thinks so. He said he likes me, so not to worry. However, I guess it is insecurity, but I didn't like his answer. I have been talking to this guy for a month now. We are both 24 years old. We went out a few times and he's away at a business trip. We talk/text/email almost everyday. He knows I am interested in him because I was the first one to tell him. He told me he liked me too. About a week ago, I found out from him that he came out of a 5month relationship 3 months ago. Some people say 3 months is enough time to receive over someone since he was only in it for 5 months, while others say it's still too short. I asked him if he was over her, and he said "he thinks so, they were not compatible." At first, I didn't like his answer, but I continued to talk to him nonetheless. However, I feel like it's not enough time to receive over someone, from knowing a bit of his personality already because he's the type to really take things into consideration and a strong Christian. Open Question: Need advice about an American work visa?

I'm moving to New Jersey from the UK, at the beginning of september to start a business with an American I met whilst traveling in SE Asia, last year. Basically we are opening a store. I have sorted out stuff like the logos, website etc, and he has found the premises and invested in the interior. I have been talking to this guy for a month now. We are both 24 years old. We went out a few times and he's away at a business trip. We talk/text/email almost everyday. He knows I am interested in him because I was the first one to tell him. He told me he liked me too. About a week ago, I found out from him that he came out of a 5month relationship 3 months ago. Some people say 3 months is enough time to receive over someone since he was only in it for 5 months, while others say it's still too short. I asked him if he was over her, and he said he thinks so, they were not compatible. At first, I didn't like his answer, but I continued to talk to him nonetheless. Hello, The question is related to hiring a Property Manager. Are the following reasonable things to expect a Property Manager to do: - to let me know about any maintenance or repair expense higher than a certain amount before spending it? if yes, what is that amount $500, $1000? - to send me receipts periodically (or at least keep them for me)? what is more common send (or scan and email) or just keep the receipts in their office? - to allow me to give 60 days notice if no longer wants to work with them since selling for example? in other words can they expect me to pay them the entire year even if I am selling in the middle? in other words, how to end the relationship? - to respond to every water leakages within 24 hours? just a guess of mine. not sure what you expect on this one. asking specifically on leakage as it will give me a good idea regarding other urgent matters too. I’ve being dating with this girl for 3-4 months now, things are going very smoothly. However, recently I found out something suspicious. A week ago I found an email address she uses, which contains Eric.(her name)@livedotcom. I became paranoid. I did not confront her about this, so I did my possess little investigation (went through her other email accounts, looking at her sms). I found several emails that were dated 8 months ago. The guy calls her “sweetie” “babe.” There were two itineraries to Las Vegas, and New York. Nothing recent while we’re dating though. I caught my husband viewing porn off a website that allows a person to pick women by location. The location he had on, just so happen to be locations where he was going to travel for business. Needless to say I was so hurt by this. I confronted him and he said he was just looking. I don’t know why he would do this. We have been married for 7 yrs. Resolved Question: I'm in a seriously tangled situation - please help...?

- FOREWARNING: I tend to ramble on a lot, so this might be a bit long. I ask that you please don't answer with any negative or unhelpful remarks. If you don't have any advice, don't bother posting. Thanks :] - About a week ago, my mom signed me up for this summer job called 'pickle sorting'. She sent in a resume before even consulting me. She told the lady who runs the business that I was available 7 days a week (again, without asking my opinion first). I told my mom that I was not okay with working 7 days a week as I'm a teenager, and I need breaks sometimes, and she said that I can't adjust my schedule until two weeks from now, because it is permanently set until next Saturday. Now, I just started this job today, and honestly didn't mind it. However, a few hours ago, I came across an ad in our newspaper advertising a casting call for an indie movie *this upcoming Saturday*. My mom says that it is unprofessional to ask for the day off with only a weeks time, especially on your first day (which I accept is completely true) and that, because the audition is an hour away, she won't steer. I know it's really lame and might cost me my job, but I REALLY want to go to this audition. The ad says "seeking a female to play a 17-19 year old - if interested, please send a head and bodyshot for reference at blahblah@blahblah.com". I'm fifteen, but I sent a few pictures anyways, and the guy replied that he would adore to look my audition. I've never once in my life had an opportunity like this. Again, I know I sound like a pathetic whiny 12 year old, but I don't think there's a much more intelligent way to put it. I need to go to this thing- even if I don't receive a part in the movie, I want to try. So just to run your memory: My mom won't let me ask for the day off and she won't steer me to the audition because it is 'too far'. I'm thinking if I email the manager of the pickle factory and try to sound like I know what I'm doing, she might let me have this one single day off. As I said earlier, I understand that this might cost me my job and the chances are very unlikely, but I'm not going to give up. What I'd like to know, is how exactly should I word it? Any ideas are totally appreciated. As for the transportation issue, I'm going to try to bribe a close relative of mine to steer me. I figure I could pay him with the 100$ I've made so far - 50 for the ride there and 50 back. I don't know if my mom will approve, but what do you think I should say to her? Trust me, I protested, but Nate was right, she doesn't trust me. When I heard that Nate had proposed to Camil I did everything short of picketing to try and change her mind, but nothing worked. Normally when Camil was about to make a mistake and I could look it from a mile away I would go to my dad, but my dad is one wrong move away from disowning me. Tonight was a perfect example of me trying to do everything I could win their adore back. No tiny task, mind you. A few years ago I was chosen by my Aunt to handle her finances, if she became unable to, which a few years later she became sick, and had to go into a nursing home, and now is living a life in a luxurious assisted living facility. I have been handling every her finances, and taking her to every her appointments, and basically have become her caretaker, and my husband and I have received nothing in return, or have we expected anything, Now I find out that my sister, and her husband thinks we have been using my Aunts money for our personal use. They have thought that the whole 2 years, and for the past year have not spoken to us. Now she emails me, and says that she is unhappy with the way things were handled, and that she thinks we have been using my Aunts money to buy us things. She and I will inherit nothing, I am just power of attorney, and trustee of the estate. I am just trying to take care of my Aunt, and to make her reminding life as good as possible. And it is really none of my sister business! After accusing me and my husband of being thieves, she wants to resolve things. My best pal is a guy. We have been friends for 7 years now. His ex and I were/ are friends as well. We became friends because of their relationship. Well they broke up after 4 years because their lives were going in VERY different directions. Anyway, recently she slipped and mentioned something about logging in to my friends email work email account and checking his facebook. I told her that I thought that was a HUGE invasion of privacy and that she needed to tell him she remembered his passwords and had been checking his accounts or I would. Well she said she talked to him so I dropped it. Long story short, she did not tell him and was still snooping and found an email to my pal from me asking if I could borrow some money. She called me and wigged out... etc etc. I told her that it was none of her business because it was not her money or her bf for that matter anymore. I text my pal and said that we needed to talk and explained the situation from my point of view. He called her and we every talked - he and I on speaker and she on the other end of the phone and pretty much cleared things up except that she is mad I ended up telling him... she said that was her responisibility. I agree it was but she was not telling him and she was reading my and Brians email correspondence. She says she wants our friendship to continue but does not feel it can unless I apologize. I am not trying to be bull headed but I don't think I owe her one. If it was her emails that were being read and I knew I would have told her too... Do I owe her an apology? I was friends with him first.

I average 100 emails a day from account which I use for most of my business correspondence. Last Wednesday, I noticed I only had a quarter of that, Thursday....I only had 8.....and by Friday morning, I am receiving NOTHING. I have tried shutting down the computer, signing out, disk cleanup, defrag etc. I'm starting to feel a little desperate. Is any one else having this problem ? Me and my boyfriend have been together for 3.5 years. Recently for the past year or so we have been going through tough times. There is this girl who is working for my boyfriend and she confessed her adore for him and tried to break us up. (She's from the same country that he is from) She sent me emails and text messages saying that my bf is cheating on her with me. She also talked to my bf's friends and told them bad things about me. Anyways, my bf cannot flame her because he says that he cannot find anybody else for the job. My bf and I live together and he is at home every night but I do not trust him. I recently got an Email from Amazon regarding an order I placed a week ago: "We're sorry for the delay in shipping the order you placed on July 23 2010 (Order# 102-9875979-1392230). We have good news -- the order is now being shipped! You should receive a shipping notification shortly, within the next business day, for the following item(s)..." Does this mean that the item has actually been shipped out? Because on Amazon's Your Orders page, it still says "Shipping Soon". Thanks for the help!

Open Question: friendship in doubt, fair weather or what?

I have had several very close friends for about 20 years. A couple of years ago, I had a tiny business go below and a second kept me afloat. I finally replaced the failed one with a part time job and continue the second tiny business part time. These friends know I am having a difficult time, and yet do not even call or check on me to look if I have slit my wrists or have starved to death. I would not do that, no matter what happens, and yet I wonder after 20 years, and being involved with these people, why are they not even calling to ask if I am ok. When I email and say hi and ask a question, I receive very short responses. The only thing against me is one of them shares a hobby with me, and we both donate time and money to it. Before the job problems, he decided to set me aside and do this hobby with someone else who had a better set up involving the hobby. Now that that someone else has moved on, my pal is still not contacting me and when he does he is short. I am a few bucks (100, not much for us) behind with money for the hobby, but have always put in my share and then some. I am almost caught up and paying what I can. 20 years is a while to be involved with these people, and I have been involved always with holidays, moves, b-days, weddings births etc. Just because I am having piss needy luck is no reason to back off from a pal, is it? I have never asked them for anything, and when they do run into me, they only say "how is it going?" "we understand".... Plenty of time to have shown they are 'fair weather friends" but they never have been that way.

Okay im getting the En V touch soon and i will be sharing a plan with 3 other people, 4 total including me.. But we each receive 26 MG of data a month. how much is that? i receive on myspace and facebook about 5-7 times each everyday for about 15-30 mins each time. i sometimes will use you tube maybe once a day for 20 mins. will i have enough? and what will happen if i go over? Oh the other phones the other ppl are getting are the samsung reality, env3 and chocolate touch. If that's important... I'm not going to use it for business of whatever just texting like sending 1000+ texts a day calling mostly Verizon people and the internet usage i mentioned over. I WILL NOT use it for email. Open Question: How do I get the Mail program on my mac to stop asking me for my email password?

I've got three email accounts that I have synced to it—gmail, a hotmail for business, and a hotmail for personal stuff. The gmail account always stays logged on, but every few minutes I receive a popup saying that the pop3 server rejected my password for one of the hotmail accounts. I retype it and click "remember in keychain" about half the time. I can't receive it to cease though! Is this a hotmail problem or a Mac Mail problem? How can I receive it to cease? If it's relevant, I do have my Mac Mail synced to check my mail every minute. I do so because I work from home and often send and receive time sensitive emails.

Open Question: How can I create a Facebook business profile?

Business profiles vs. business pages>> I currently have a page for my business but notice that some businesses don't have pages but profiles as anyone would for their possess personal account. Businesses can "pal" you just like a person. How can I do this for my business? I opened up another account (besides my personal) using my business email but I cannot receive my name to change. My real name is on the account. I want it to be the business name. I tried changing the user name to the business but keep getting an mistake message (must use A-Z, 0-9; my business is three words long... are the spaces throwing it off??). I've tried changing my real name below my account settings to the business name but it is getting rejected by the automatic name confirmation system. Help! Yes, I am aware of FB's rules regarding this but... oh well. Does this name rejection mean FB has caught up with people trying this or is there a way around it? Thanks for your help.

Open Question: Am I overreacting for letting him go?

I have been talking to this guy for a month now. We are both 24 years old. We went out a few times and he's away at a business trip. We talk/text/email almost everyday. He knows I am interested in him because I was the first one to tell him. He told me he liked me too. About a week ago, I found out from him that he came out of a 5month relationship 3 months ago. Some people say 3 months is enough time to receive over someone since he was only in it for 5 months, while others say it's still too short. I asked him if he was over her, and he said he thinks so, they were not compatible. At first, I didn't like his answer, but I continued to talk to him nonetheless. However, I feel like it's not enough time to receive over someone. I have been hurt that way and I know that' him being a strong Christian and every, he probably still isn't over her. Perhaps he told me he likes me because he knows how much I like him and he doesn't want to lose me? I'm going to tell him I don't think I can further continue talking to him, because MY FEELINGS are developing really quick. Am I overreacting? I don't want to receive to know someone and take it slow, because I'm already falling for him and what if hes not ready?

Open Question: How to change the name showing on emails I send? Switched to showing my married name for some reason.?

I use this Yahoo email for business and every account info is showing correctly with my business name. For some reason, however, suddenly the name showing on sent emails from me now is showing my married name which I don't use for business and never provided to Yahoo. I did list another gmail account as a contact for Yahoo to reach me and that one does use my married name. I found one blog saying to go to Options, General Pref, Name and Email to make this nice of change, but I do not look this option below General Preference.
